Paul Coveney Memorial Trophy 2022

The Cork Business League has chosen Cork Penny Dinners as our charity partner for 2022.

On July 23rd 2022 a CBL XI will take on a Fairfield XI in the Fairfield, Farranree in order to raise much-needed funds for Cork Penny Dinners.

We chose Cork Penny Dinners because a young man by the name of Paul Coveney played in the CBL and also played with Fairview FC in the Cork AUL over the years.

The following Go Fund Me page has been set up to collect donations between now and the big game:

Cork Penny Dinners helped change Paul’s life around before his tragic passing last year. We are doing this to remember an amazing young man and raise vital funds for a charity that does amazing work.
