Support Measures for Cork Business League Clubs Announced

The Management Committee of the Cork Business League has unanimously approved financial measures to support its clubs for the coming 2021-22 season. The overall cost to the CBL will be in excess of €10,000.

The following measures and reduction in entry fees are designed to help our clubs financially following the drastic impact that COVID-19 has had over the last 16 months.

Existing Clubs

  • Existing clubs will not be charged a Club Entry Fee for the 2021-22 season. Standard Fee: €170.
  • Existing clubs will be charged a €30 Club Disciplinary Bond for the new 2021-22 season. Unless the Bond is still intact from the 2020-21 season.
  • Existing clubs will be supplied with 2 match balls & 4 training balls as part of our sponsorship deal with Sports Gear Direct prior to the start of the 2021-22 season.
  • Existing Clubs will pay €8 per Player Registration Fee for any new player not signed with the club during the 2020-21 season. Standard Fee: €10 per player.

New Clubs

  • New clubs will be charged a Club Entry Fee of €100.  Standard Fee €170.
  • New clubs will be charged a Disciplinary Bond of €30.
  • New clubs will be supplied with 2 match balls & 4 training balls as part of our sponsorship deal with Sports Gear Direct prior to the start of the 2021/22 season.
  • New clubs will pay €8 per Player Registration. Standard Fee: €10 per player.
