Cork Business League Division Permutations Heading into Final Stages of the 2024 / 2025 Season

Premier Division Title Chase

At the moment, there are four clubs with a chance to win the title.

• ARC Rovers are looking to finish on 31 points with only 2 relegation teams left play.
• Jay Bazz would need to win their remaining games and hope ARC lose both of theirs.
• HELIO Inter cork have 3 relegation threatened teams to play but would still need ARC to only gain 2 points from their remaining games.
• Swift are still in the best position in the title race with 5 matches to play and could take the title with 5 victories but they will have to face Jay Bazz which could prove to be a huge match.

Premier Division Relegation

2 out of 4 teams in the relegation zone will find themselves in First Division next season.

• ASH are in the worst position to get relegated with only 2 games remaining. Their game vs Cork Hospitals could be make or break for them.
• Satellite Taxis have a tough run of games but 2 of them are against relegation rivals Healy O’Connor Solictors. So it could be in their own hands.
• Healys are similar position to Satellite. Their 2 matches against each other could decide who stays up.
• Cork Hospitals have 5 games remaining with 2 vs relegation rivals.

First Division Title Chase

There are four teams that can still potentially win the First Division.

• Evcore are leading the way but have only 2 games to play against DHF Grangevale and Martin Harvey Solicitors who are also in the title race.
• Longboats have 5 to play but two of those matches are against title rivals DHF Grangevale.
• DHF Grangevale have it all in their hands but 2 huge matches against Longbaots and they’ve dropped 5 points vs Martin Harvey Solicitors in the last 2 weeks.
• Martin Harvey’s have an outside chance but would probably need DHF Grangevale and Longboats to draw their 2 games against each other to be in with a realistic chance. And then they still would have to beat Longboats.

First Division Relegation.

• Marlboro have already been relegated, with only 2 games remaining.
• It looks to be between O’Brien Scaffolding and TWI Dripsey Celtic at the moment to take the other spot, even though TWI Dripsey Celtic, if they won every match, could end up in the top half of the table.
• OBS have a tough run in with their last 3 matches against DHF Grangevale, Longboats and Martin Harvey’s
• Martin Harvey’s could still technically get relegated but with 4 points taken against DHF Grangevale in the last 2 weeks it seems very unlikely they lose their last 4 matches

Second Division Title Chase
There are three teams are in contention for the Second Division Title.

• Irish Sepsis Foundation Ballyphehane look favourites as they top the table and have games in hand. But 3 of those matches are against title rivals.
• DCT FC have only 1 match remaining so they would need to beat ISF Ballyphehane and hope for a miracle.
• SABOR Braziil Giants are still right in contention and would need a win vs ISF Ballyphehane to apply pressure on their title rivals.
