On Sunday 22nd March 2026, the CBL Transfer Window closes. This means that a player cannot sign for a CBL club outside of this window unless he has been Terminated by his previous club prior to the 22nd March. If the player has been terminated prior to the 22nd March then he is free to register with a different club.
A player that is not registered with a club may register for a club at any time between 1st January and 31st December.
Players that are not assigned to a Calendar Competition may only be assigned to a Calendar Competition during the period from 1st January to 30th September.
For the 2025 CBL Short season, it is still classified as a Winter Season, which means it overlaps with the new Calendar Season. During this window (1st January to 22nd March) players may sign for up to three clubs and play for up to three clubs within the CBL.
This flexibility applies only to the current registration window, which closes on 22nd March.
From the July window onward, the standard rule will apply again: players may sign for up to three clubs but play for only two.
If you have any specific cases or queries, feel free to send them onto [email protected] and we will review.
