CBL Shield 2026 – Draw Date Confirmed

On Tuesday, 27th January 2026, the Group Stages will be drawn for this season’s CBL Shield. It will take place live on the Cork Business League YouTube Channel from 7pm.

Group Stage Rules:

• 3 points for a normal time Group Stage win;
• 0 points for a normal time Group Stage loss;
• If level after 90 minutes, the game goes straight to penalties;
• 2 points for a Penalty Shoot-out Group Stage win;
• 0 points for a Penalty Shoot-out Group Stage loss;
• If two teams are level on points at the end of the group stage, it goes down to the head-to-head result; and
• If more than two teams are level on points at the end of the group stage, it goes down to head-to-head results between them.

Only Clubs who have completed their CBL Club Registration here will be assigned a Ball Number for the Shield Draw.
