FAI Player Re-Registration (Transfer) Window Closes 23rd September 2024

The Player Re-Registration (Transfer) Deadline is fast approaching – it’s Tuesday 23rd September. Please ensure to have any & all players “Saved as Submitted” on FAI Connect by this date. The window will re-open on 1st January 2025.

Any registration saved in the SUBMITTED status by this deadline will be processed beyond the deadline by the FAI Connect team once a signed FAI Connect Player Registration Form was correctly uploaded to the registration.

If there are any players registering for the very first time on FAI Connect, then they can still be signed until 31st March 2025.

It is important to note that since the introduction of FAI Connect, the registration of an amateur no longer expires at the end of the season, therefore the player remains registered to the club and is no longer a free agent until the time they have their registration Terminated on FAI Connect or Transfer to a new club. i.e. If a player has finished the 2023/24 Winter Season with a team and is still in the CONFIRMED status with that club, they are still registered and must be TERMINATED or have a Transfer registration SUBMITTED prior to the deadline above applicable to the new club they are wishing to play for.
