Sabor Braziil Launch New Cork Business League Club!

SABOR BRAZIIL, a Brazilian Cuisine Restaurant on Washington Street, Cork has formed a new CBL club – SABOR BRAZIIL Giants!

Sabor Braziil Giants FC is an amateur football club based in Cork, Ireland, proudly sponsored by the renowned Sabor Brazill restaurant.

Distinguished as a football team in Cork composed of a majority of Brazilian players, the club brings a unique flair and vibrant cultural influence to the local football scene. It serves not only as a sporting entity but also as a dynamic community hub for Brazilians living in Cork.

Founded in 2024 by a group of football-loving Brazilians who had previously played in the Cork Business League (CBL), the team aims to provide a platform for Brazilian players to showcase their talent and share their rich footballing culture with the Irish community.

The team’s colors are green and yellow, reflecting the Brazilian national colors. The club crest features the Onça Pintada (jaguar), one of the iconic animals of the Amazon jungle, symbolizing the club’s roots, drive, and passion for the beautiful game.

Sabor Braziil Giants FC has played a significant role in promoting cultural exchange and integration between the Brazilian community and local Cork residents. The club actively engages with the local community through various initiatives, including a recent campaign to collect donations for the victims of the floods in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. These activities aim to strengthen the sense of community and promote values of teamwork, respect, and cultural diversity.
