Dennehy’s Health & Fitness Grangevale Launch New Cork Business League Club!
29th July 2024 – Blackpool, Ballincollig, Douglas, and Penrose Dock, Cork – Dennehy’s Health & Fitness joins forces with Grangevale AFC to join the Cork Business League!
As a growing league, the Cork Business League first & foremost wants to support all local Cork businesses to help them reach an audience using football as the driving force and increase employee participation. Along with that, if we can attract clubs / teams / organisations to join our journey – that will help our story too.
For Grangevale, heading into their 72nd year as a club, joining the CBL was an appealing move. Team Manager and Treasurer, Diarmuid O’Neill says “There is a passionate & helpful committee in the CBL, open to a chat at any time. The coverage is fantastic with a brillant website and online presence. New competitions to us which have matches recorded and Live Streamed. The Oscar Traynor team is something our players have the potential to be part of. Overall, there’s a huge positivity in the league at the moment and we are joining that at the right time for us as a group.”
Steve Barry and Luke Dennehy of Dennehy’s Health & Fitness, long-term partners with Grangevale, gave the go ahead and agreed it was of mutual benefit to the two parties to join the league. As a gym, the club’s players enjoy the four gyms that a membership has to offer. With classes, gym floors and PTs in all, it brings a level of professional to the club which they hope will lead to success in the CBL.
