Cork Business League & Sports Gear Direct Announce Enhanced Sponsorship

Following discussions with our primary sponsor Sports Gear Direct, the CBL is delighted to announce support measures for Cork Business League clubs for the rest of the 2022 / 2023 season!

  • All clubs will be supplied with 2 match balls.
  • All clubs will be supplied with 2 training balls.
  • All clubs will be supplied with a football bag.
  • All clubs will be supplied with a case of 8 club-crested 1ltr water bottles.

Speaking on this announcement, CBL Secretary Peter Travers spoke highly of the team at Sports Gear Direct, “Over the last 15 or so years, and most prominently since 2017, Adrian and his team have been dedicated in providing the CBL with sponsorship that we can give straight back to the clubs. Without the backing of Sports Gear Direct, the CBL would not have seen such growth over such a short space of time.”

Adrian Ryan, owner of Sports Gear Direct had this to say on today’s announcement: “We are delighted to be associated once again with the CBL and can see first-hand how it is growing and how the benefits of what we provide are welcomed by each club every season.”

The footballs and water bottles will be available to collect within the next few weeks and we will notify our clubs when they can visit the store to collect the items.
