- In the open round stages (4th Round on) of the Munster Junior Cup all matches must be played on an enclosed ground where dressing facilities and showers are available at the ground. If the home team cannot supply an enclosed ground the match shall switch to the away side’s enclosed ground.
- An enclosed ground is defined as a ground where access can only be gained through official entrances and where spectators are separated from the playing area by ropes and or railings. It is the responsibility of the League of the home club when making the fixture to ensure the ground meets this requirement.
- The duration of the games shall be 90 minutes. In the event of a draw, 10 minutes each way extra time shall be played. If still a draw at the end of extra time then the game shall be decided by the FIFA penalty rule.
- Three officials must be appointed for all games in the open rounds of the competitions. The home team are responsible for all fees and expenses of the match officials.
- Referee must be Grade 1
- Please note that in all rounds of the competitions when a game is not played at the 1st attempt at a venue because of ground or weather conditions, the game will be reversed to the away venue. This will also apply if a game has commenced, but not concluded because of ground or weather conditions.
- The League secretary / fixture secretary of the home team should contact the League secretary / fixture secretary of the away team at least 14 days in advance of the game to arrange fixture and it is advised that fixture is confirmed in writing afterwards.
- The League secretary / fixture secretary of the home team must confirm details of the fixture to the Administrator/Secretary of the MFA in writing (e-mail or fax will suffice) as soon as the fixture is made.
